"Who Am I?"
Just when I thought I knew everything about myself,
I started to wonder if that was all I was.
It whispered, "Who are you?"
And I replied, "I am me."
Then it asked, "And who is that?"
I didn't reply at that.
I looked at the fading sky and felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"Who am I? What am I here for? What is my living here going to do?"
Questions. Statements.
And finally answers.
I will search and search for myself
until I can finally be proud to smile and say,
"Yup. That's me."
