They sit alone there together in ten rows
They lie in wait together as solid stone
They pretend to live that is how it goes
They sit there still as the simplest clone
Victorian dolls they sit there and stare
The old baronesses used them as quests
The withstood the ages till they were rare
Now their forgotten old moth eaten dress
Look at them now china heads old worn out
They rest on the shelves till they fall and crack
They shall never disappear they’ll always be about
You hear them hit the floor with a loud smack
The old dolls spend their long forgotten day
Sitting and sitting all those years they lay
