There are times in ones life when amazing things begin to happen. You can feel it in the air surrounding the person and you know, just know that grand things are going to happen in their future. I would know, it happened to my friend Greg. The change began in July. The sun was peeping its head out from behind whispy white clouds and the air was charged with the energy of a thousand people all enjoying the pleasures of the Linkintown Fair. A group of my closest friends and myself had chosen this fateful day to meet at said fair. As I gazed with whistful eyes at the multitude of products bening sold I heard my name being bellowed over the heads of noist crowd members. upon looking up I espied Greg. The smile on his face should have been my first clue, for Greg rarely smiled but little did I suspect at that time that greater things were being put into motion. I waved him over and then it hit me, not only was he smiling he had this aura around him. Something that I had never seen before. I was an inner raidiance, and as cheesy as that sounds, it was true. I chose to ignore it and we continued in through the fair, stopping to grab a pretzel. Later in the day we met up with Sally at a tee shirt stand and found our way to Tom with the band, big surprise. The day continued pretty normally untill night began to set. Then things just began to get spooky. As soon as the sun had set it's raident head strange things began to happen. A strong wing began to race through fairground and a cackling sound filled the wind torn air. The trees began a terrifying dance and people fearing the onset of a strom fled for the safety of their homes. This might seem odd but it was nowhere near as odd as the light I had seen around Greg earlier in the day. I had grown brighter. He seemed to be a beacon in the ever growing darkness. My heart picked up its pace as I stared at him and fear of the unknown began to prickle my mind. I found out the next day as I lay in my bed trying to remember the privious days events that my fear was founded. I found out what Greg was and what he was destined for.
