Well the nothing didn't turn out to be nothing... I'm having to take antibiotics now. I don't know how I got an infection like that...I mean, I'm careful, y'know? I wash my hands and all that; I'm a doctor.
So I'm wondering... Stuff like this can be brought on by an infection spreading from elsewhere; but where? I feel fine otherwise...
I tried some research on it, but I couldn't find anything that I didn't already know. I guess it really could just be not spread from elsewhere....... Either way, it should be gone along with any other infections I might have in a few weeks with the antibiotics I'm on, so no point in worrying about it.
It just really sucks with this cropping up as soon as it did... It ruined what would have been a wonderful romantic evening with my wife.
On other notes... My leg is really acting up. But of course, I probably should have expected that with being on it a lot more recently. I've even started going back to work at the school clinic. So its a lot more moving around than the break is used to.
I'll have to up the dosage of my painkillers if I'm going to make it through the workdays from now on. Its not a problem; I'm just hoping not to get addicted to the stuff. I'm already an alcoholic; the last thing I need is a drug problem.
