Oh my goodness! I wore a backpack for the first time in... a year and a half? o.O Gotta be about that long.. Anyway, a couple days back Cat and I were out for a walk and met up with our old chem. teacher! o.o We got to talking, and it turns out Dad never took back the textbooks <.<; (apparently they'd be riding around in the trunk for a month, then got dropped off in the garage..) The next day we were cleaning out the garage and found them *laughs* So today we decide to walk 'em over ^.^ And let me tell you, it's quite the walk....

So we loaded the books up in backpacks and made our way over, and guess what? *giggles* We got honk 'n howled at! whee 'Twas two guys in a yellow car of some kind, slowed down (we were headed towards each other) and one of them stuck his head out the window, then the other honked like four times and the guy out the window was like "Ooooow!!" -^.^-;; Cat and I burst out laughing as soon as they were past. whee What possesses guys to do that? *laughs then rolls her shoulder with a sultry look* Not that I mind.... Or at least I'm getting better at not minding o.o; Despite what it may seem, I'm a pretty shy girl and usually get kinda flustered at such things but I'm working on getting a better attitude towards it ^.^; *kept reminding herself it was a compliment*

I've been honked at a few times, but I think the most memorable was when Cat and I, along with our two friends, Amber and Claire, were all down in San Francisco for the two C's 18th birthdays ^.^ We were there for like a week, but anyway near the end we decided to get all dressed up and go find a nice restaurant *laughs* It didn't work out so well, but I'll get to that in a moment... The four of us were waiting at a crosswalk when this whole carload of guys pulled up to the light whee They started yelling and honking *giggles* It was hilarious!! Anyway, the light changed and they drove off, but we had a good laugh about it for the rest of the evening ^.^ Claire kept teasing that we should've hopped in and gone clubbing <.<; She's the wild one of the group *laughs* But she's really as tame as the rest of us, I mean we were in SF for a week, with no adult supervision and we acted like a bunch of grandma tourists whee

Oh! Yeah, it turned out there really wasn't much within walking distance (at night anyway) worth while so we went to this little Italian place *laughs* The waiter was completely shocked to see us all dressed up whee Then we decided to get some ice cream, so we walked like three blocks down, came back, walked around the block with our hotel and found a little... Mart.. thing... asked for directions, got vague ones and followed them then found out it was closed and came back *giggles* Then we bought a pint of ice cream from the mart and went back to the hotel, sat on the beds and passed it around whee Some night out, huh? ^.^

Ahhh! Before I forget, it sounds like Dad got tickets from a friend to go skiing this weekend *never learned to ski, despite living in three different states with large mountains... and doesn't particularly want to* --.-- So I won't be around... and if I break a leg, arm or other important, breakable thing, I may be gone for a little while long then that whee Please contribute to my mailbox mess and leave me lovely little PM's of "Good luck!!" to read when I get back! ^.^
