In the wind is a petal
a petal dark as night
in this petal i see myself
searching for the light
as i walk along this path
the wind shows me the way
to the flower of the petal
which carried me today
as i stare at this flower
i know i must pick it up
i touch the thorn and blood falls
onto the flower of which i only know
and in this moment i am cursed
to live in misarey
