I... NEVER expected it to be so heart wrenchingly painful. I mean... I wasn't the one graduating and I know that. As of yesterday, I'm officially a Sophomore >w<
I realized yesterday that I've got so many friends here who love me for who I am and not what I wear or how I act. A good example is the entirety of the Writer's/Drama club at school.
At Graduation yesterday, when we were finally allowed to go down onto the field to hug the Seniors and join them in their joyful tear shed, I realized it. I was crying. A lot. And so were Beth and Ellie, which didn't help me any.
Will and Mugen and everyone came over and just hugged the three of us. I kept getting hugs from these people I thought didn't know I existed or thought didn't like me.
I felt so happy to be here, for the short time I was here.
The first three years I lived here were utter hell. I want to push those memories from my mind. But this year was different. I NEVER want to forget it. It cherish it so much. All my friends; all the things we've done together; and all the places I've been.
I wouldn't trade this year for anything. I'll miss my friends, yes, but I know where I am needed and it isn't here. I'm needed back home in Virginia. So, those of you from Henrico that are perhaps reading this, don't freak out. I'm still coming back. n_n
But I'm coming back here to Blairsville EVERY break and for every single Graduation until my OWN class graduates; 2010.
So thanks if you guys read all of that. It means a lot to me. n_n I just had to spout for a minute. If I didn't get it out, it woulda bugged me for a while.
