These are two of the many poems I've written... what do you think?
PURE ANGELS
The saying goes,
"Every time a bell rings,
An angel gets its wings."
There is one kind of angel,
One special kind of angel,
Who is as pure and angelic as possible.
This angel is
The guardian of good
And the wellbeing of others.
This angel is one
Pure from birth and under
The care and wisdom of God.
These angels are cared for
By the Divine and
Guard all of us who seek shelter.
The watch over us
From our perspective
And keep us safe from harm.
Pure angels are friends
Who are always on our minds
And are forever in our hearts.
WHAT AM I?
What am I to you?
Am I a shadow
That follows you everywhere?
What am I to you?
Am I a close friend
That cares a lot for you?
What am I to you?
Am I a guardian
Who will protect you?
What am I to you?
Am I someone
Who will never put you in danger?
What am I to you?
Am I an angel
Sent to watch over you?
What am I to you?
Am I an enigma
Who is hard to figure out?
What am I to you?
Am I the one
You look up to as a role model?
Or am I just the wind?
