I just finished Deathnote, online. *Runs around, hands in air, screaming frantically* I will say I cried, what fangirl wouldn't? I was on the phone with my friend when I was at chapter 107, she was a little scared, I think, because I was crying in desperation. I'm going to go into a corner and be sad now.... I knew what was going to happen beforehand, but this time, I read it all the way through. That made it sadder. crying
I won't spoil it for those who haven't finished it yet. All I'll say is I'm glad Near's lifespan is short and think Mikami and Ryuk fail, and want them to go die. This is a time when fangirl saddness is the strongest. Here's a few tips for those who will interact with fangirls who have their fav. character die, like me...
1. Do not comment at all on the character, especially by making fun of them or laughing at their demise.
2. Do not glorify any character who participated in their death.
3. Comfort them and be understanding, or they will be upset. (Example: hugs are nice)
4. Make them laugh with comics or other funny pictures of the character. (Yaoi/yuri isn't the best choice)

There are 5 steps to grief. First is denile, then grief, then anger. I'm now at the anger. I think I will pretend to stab Near. Die, Near, DIE!!! Now where are the Near Fangirls?? Run Near fangirls, run!! tee hee hee!!!
