Setsuna dragged herself out of bed. Her mind told her no. But she was going to any way. Okay, what she was going to do, was go back to her town. To see what she could do to get back a few of her keepsakes. Setsuna sighed. She had vowed never to go there again. But she ignored that fact.

After tieing her violet hair into two buns, she went to pack. She packed some lunch and brought some gold because she knew she would be there all day. But something told her she shouldn't go. Something bad was going to happen. Shoving that thought to the back of her mind, Setsuna set out.

It was long, and she had to stop once because she took a back route and it was very rocky. But she finally go there. Not a thing had changed. Except, there was no one there. It was all doom and gloom. She shuddered and went downa few twisting streets before she got to her house. Opening the door, she noticed that the outsiders, whom she now refered to as the raiders, hadn't taken anything. There was still blood on the floor, and chalk marks where she had traced each body. Dangerously close to crying, she climbed the stairs into her room, she took out a sack she had, and started filling it. Her diary, pictures of her friends and family, her favorite pillow and blankets,(she still had nothing to sleep on)and her little sister's, whom she had shared a room with, pillow. She went to each room, gathering things that would help her remember the "good" times. She also grabbed a few more blankets for her bed in Gaia. Sighing, she went downstairs. Suddenly, just as she was walking to the town square, she heard a noise. The raiders. Terrified, she looked around to see where she could hide. No where. They were coming! They saw her. "Well, well, well! What do we have here?" A raider jumped off his horse and walked over to Setsuna. "Hmmmm, I say we take her with us. What do ya say, fellows? Take her?"
"Take her!" Another raider yelled.
"Okay." The first raider wlaked up to Setsuna. Suddenly, he hit her! Hard. She fell. The raider didn't waste a second. He bound and gagged her, pulled her up on his horse, and...Thwump. "Thwump?" The raider turned around. Setsuna was running away! He had forgotten to bind her feet! He jumped down. She wasn't very far, then he had an idea. He picked up a nice stone and threw it. It hit Setsuna squarley on the head and she fell down. The last thought in her mind: "Why?" Then she blacked out.
