Skills and Abilities: Trained by the Empire to be an Imperial Knight, Antares has had a polyvalent training that focuses both on military elements and forcetraining.
A capable fieldcommander, Yun has keen tactical insight. He’s capable of using light military weaponry and is specialized in the use of the lightsaber. He’s also had fighterpilot-training.
Explosives, Imperial protocol and lore are known to him. He also has access to a lot of the Force-related archives and been instructed in a degree of etiquette, diplomacy and off course knows how to deal with Imperial security and has a moderate knowledge of non Imperial organisations most notably enemies. His lightsaber-style is a mix of what would once have been called form IV, the aggressive style and the polyvalent form V. His fightingstyle tends to be defensive at first, wearing down the enemy before unleashing great offensive flurries and strikes with precize blows after having analysed his foe for weaknesses and flaws. This same method comes back in his general thinking-pattern which is analytical and calm and turns into a passionate action when needed.


Physical Description:
Yun Antares is a human with slightly pale skin and short thick ravenblack hair. His features are a bit sharp and his eyes are a dark brown. He has a red scar that runs vertically from above to under his left eye. He has broad shoulders and he is slightly above average in height. Training has kept him fit and in good condition but he’s not overly muscular.


Personality Description:
Yun is a courageous and dedicated person. Selfdisciplined, somewhat stern at times and a realist. He is a man that upholds a certain chivalrous code where duty and obedience to the ideals of the New Order are important. He can be quite stubborn at times yet Yun is quite calculating and calm upholding the look of the eloquent and dutiful warrior. Militaristic to the core Yun can despite his insights and polyvalence be quite brutal and ruthless. And though he possesses a remarkable noble streak he is not without his dark side as he’s willing to go to great lengths to protect the interests of the New Order, the Empire, the Order of the Imperial Knights and his master. True to his friends, Yun believes in camaraderie but also hierarchy and obedience. Oaths are not taken lightly and upheld. A man of his word, Yun is very dependable. Ambitious, Yun is not impartial to glory and gaining more power but he is devoid of notions of treachery and powergrabbing, he is however a proud man and his pride may be hurt when one goes over his head or he feels wronged. Regardless of his downsides this stubborn edge and his at times arrogant pride, he seems the prime example of how an Imperial Knight should be. Pragmatic, experiencing emotions, love and the likes like normal people but clearly militaristic to the core and unwavering loyal to higher ideals. Serving the Empire, Emperor and it’s citizens and fighting to protect them from the enemies within and without that may assail them. For all his common sense and down-to-earth approaches Yun clearly has an idealistic edge when it comes to his duty. He is also quite loyal to the concept of ‘An Emperor on the throne’ and believes more in Order versus Chaos than Good versus Evil. He has a kind edge though and as stated is quite eloquent but also usually quite polite if not a bit direct.

Background History:
Yun Antares was born on Bastion and was a prime example of the exemplary Imperial citizen. He never committed crimes, was punctual, morally conservative and came forth from a typical human family. Joining the Imperial Academy as a recruit at the age of 18, he began his military career. By doing so he continued a long history of Antares citizens following a martial way of life in the service of the Galactic Empire or security. His grandfather and mother had been an Imperial Knight with reasonable Force Powers and Yun Antares soon was found possessing a considerable amount of midichlorians.
As he performed admirably, proving to be a man of sound judgement, a cool levelheaded demeanour and great loyalty to the Empire he was allowed to step into the footsteps of his mother after basic training at the Academy.
Performing admirably, Yun did not show an attunement to a specific field in the Force and therefore had a rather polyvalent training. Specializing in the use of his lightsaber, light arms and explosives he soon became quite capable at performing his duties.
Taught to investigate, lead squads in battle, pilot fighters and command cruisers, his main purpose was security. He was to protect the heir and important members of the Empire or to reinforce the Empire where needed. Raw strength was not the focal point of his training rather it was insight and an ability to solve problems using the Force or his own talents. Besides melee-combat, basic military expertise and investigations Yun was also trained to a degree in etiquette and diplomacy for the Imperial Knights were a symbol and possessed a prestige usable off the battlefield. At the age of 22 Yun would more and more be employed in the field, teaming up with other Knights and serving as a protector, honor guard but also the leader of small military units performing secret but vital missions for the Empire.
Constantly honing his Force powers but also his general knowledge of tactics, history and other topics Yun Antares found great mentors in the older Knights and above all his mother who had married an Imperial General. Doing proud to his cause and family, he would slowly rise through the ranks of the Imperial Knight hierarchy until the respect and prestige he had harnessed made him seen as an equal among most of his Knightly peers. His dedication and loyalty made him most trustworthy allowing him to be entrusted with important missions and duties which furthered his ambition of ‘standing out’ and proving himself whenever possible.
Due to his loyalty and maturity he is frequently allowed to operate from a Stardestroyer which has more or less become his ‘flagship’. Especially for vital missions he will rely on this vessel of war to serve as a base of operations and to enable him to send in troops or ships quickly where need be. Other Imperial Knights might also accompagny him on these missions as student, mentor or equal. For Imperial Knights ‘commandeer’ vessels for missions and hierarchy though present is more superfluous compared to the rigid military hierarchy of the Imperial army and navy. The fact Yun has a considerable presence in the force and due to his loyalty extensive access to the Force Libraries and archives in general adds to his prestige. Though Yun may at times pull rank if need be, he will try to be as suggestive or diplomatic as possible. His stubborn streak has in the past caused him to collide with other Knights or Imperials though and this will undoubtably happen in the future too.
Yun Antares has also voiced a distinct loyalty to the Heir of the Empire and will frequently fight using the motto “For the Emperor!”.
It is to be noted that his armour is blue instead of red and he has made a lightsaber that though conform with the general layout from which Imperial Knights construct their lightsaber, he has used a gem that creates a yellow blade. For important military missions he tends not to don the traditional Imperial Knight’s cape. These little oddities are indulged and not seen as too great a breach of protocol as some of the young Knights have also done this.

Light jetpack, grenades, vibrodagger, medkit. His favoured personal means of transportation is his ship the Nightraid, a Hunter-Killer ship which he can use both for military and tracking purposes. Mandalore's flagship is a destroyer called the 'Imperator'.

Skills and Abilities: Trained from childhood on Raxtus Prime to become a Mandalorian Protector, Kor’bayn has had an extensive military training in the use of firearms, the Mandalorian martial arts, first aid and tactics. Like most Protectors Kor'bayn Ronar has learned how to pilot crafts especially types favoured by the inhabitants of Raxtus Prime. Starfighter-training is also part of the curriculum.
Lorewise Kor'bayn knows much of the history and traditions of his people, has learned to speak ancient Mando’a which is frequently used in rituals but also as a 'code' when talking to other Protectors with other non-Mandalorians around.


Physical Description: Submitted to a rough training regimen from childhood, Kor’bayn has a bulky build and a far from flawless skin. Having lingering light scars gathered from childhood to present, he is also a tall man with broad shoulders.
His hair is ravenblack and kept short according to the protocols laid at the creation of the Protectors. His skintone is slightly pale but not much. His eyes are a darkbrown and his features are slightly crude but not unhandsome.

Personality Description:
Kor’bayn Ronar is a cynical grump who look at life with a strange down-to-earth view and applies common sense to all problems. Though seemingly prone to a certain fatalism or at least pessimism he’s also extremely stubborn and refuses to give up, seeing the struggle itself more worthwhile than living eternally.
Rational and direct, he can come of as a rude and he can get irritated if outsiders go in against his will. Proud, honourable and traditionalist he has a strange idealistic even philosophical edge hidden inside himself as he dreams of not only extending the existence of the Mandalorian Protectors but entirely reforging the Mandalorian race and it’s ways. A bit on the elitist side, he sees himself and his people as superior to others and constantly trains and studies to improve himself as to uphold to his Clan’s motto ‘Bow down to the Elite!’.

Background History:
Thirty years after the battle of Yavin, the last true Mandalorian, Boba Fett would reforge his own version of the Mandalorians on Raxus Prime. Here an intentse training regimen would weed out the weak and only the strong would survive. The Protectors a weakened variant of the Mandalorians that had met near-obliteration during the Clone Wars but would be strengthened and improved by Fett as time went on. During the Vong Wars Fett sided with the invaders for a while but in the last year of the Vong War the Mandalorian Protectors faced the Vong still. This change in the stance of the Mandalorians was either caused by Vong aggression or a lack of payment by the Vong.
Regardless Fett had seen this conflict coming and Raxus Prime withstood the Vong commendably. As time passed the new Mandalorians would become entirely entertwined with Raxus Prime and it would become their new homeworld.

Kor’bayn Ronar was born long after the death of Boba Fett and grew up in a society with a by now strong martial tradition. Destined from childhood to succeed his father, training began at an early age. Though caring, his parents and especially father were most demanding. The perfectionist expectations that he encountered greatly roughened him as he was forced to keep striving to do better or risk failure.

The Ronar clan was one of the most militarily prominent ones on Raxus Prime and was for this reason Kor’bayn had to do better than most others. As future successor of his father as head of Clan and family he had to be a rolemodel of how a Mandalorian had to be. Educated in tactics but also local politics, Kor’bayn Ronar was to reach manhood at the age of 16 by passing a trial by fire.
Participating admirably at the Battle of Gaiden’s Pass, Kor’bayn would become one of the blooded and would be accepted as a man and a Protector.

The years thereafter Kor’bayn would gradually rise through the ranks of his society partially aided by his status by blood, by the reputation of his father but also his personal accomplishments as family status and corruption are elements with far less influence on Mandalorians than to most species.

At the age of 24 Kor’bayn Ronar would be allowed the privilege of leading a small battlegroup of Mandalorian vessels in the defense over their world while the bulk of their forces were off campaigning for the Empîre. Beating off the pirates by a daring ambush followed by the boarding of the Pirate leader’s ship, Kor’bayn’s life seemed to go perfect. However Mandalorians are not without traitors and a rival clan future heir was the main rival for Kor’bayn. Using deceit and every vile trick in the book, he attempted to keep him from reaping further glory.
The Clanrivalry as a while would culminate in a treacherous backstabbing during Operation Eclipse where Kor’bayn’s father would be killed by friendly fire. His mother poisoned shortly thereafter it would not be long before Kor’bayn or his sister were next.Kor’bayn however could count on the sympathy of many Clans and would challenge his foe to single combat on the grounds of treachery and backed by a large majority of the Mandalorian leadership. Coming out of the duel as victor the Ronar Clan assimilated their rivals becoming a far more dominant one.

As time went on the Protectors continued to sell their services and Raxus Prime continued with it’s by now typical stability as the local population had little qualms with their situation. At the age of 26 the reigning Mandalore would fall in a conflict involving a rogue forceusing Mercenary Commander that had surfaced and managed to assassinate the Mandalore while being hunted. Several others would meet a similar fate as their prey skilfully used the terrain against his agressors. It would be Kor’bayn that caused the downfall of the forceuser by goading him into an ambush where sonic charges, gasmines and combined rapidfire of heavy repeaters ended the threat and avenged the backstabbed Mandalore. This solidified Kor’bayn reputation and combined by the fact his family and Clan were dominantly present enabled Kor’bayn Ronar to claim the title of Mandalore with the agreement of most Mandalorian leaders. As his clan and family’s creed was ‘Bow down to the Elite!’ he would take on the traditional title of Mandalore with the personal addition ‘The Elite’ as tradition demanded.

The young Mandalore, Kor’bayn Ronar has more or less continued the past traditions where the Mandalorians try to expand their numbers and power cautiously while at the same time taking on diverse tasks for which they are in high demand. This includes bounty-hunting, mercaneering, assaults, security, assassination and the likes.
Kor’bayn doesn’t seem to be a huge risktaker overall preferring to plan and head for his goal cautiously. He does seem to have great respect for Imperials, seeing common grounds in their autocratic and militarist ways. He seems to be looking out for opportunities to expand the small but powerful Mandalorian fleet and find new worlds to permanently draft from. A few colonies have been set up in the system itself which serve as outposts mainly or trainingareas.

Kor’bayn Ronar has mastered his own breed of Blitzkrieg tactics. Preferring a careful approach and meticulous planning before unleashing a brutal lightningraid where he will try to bludgeon keylocations into submission. Be it leadership or tactically important areas or keysystems. Though he does not fear combat, Kor’bayn does not waste his troops needlessly and is more than willing to use cunning and subterfuge to reach his goals. And this subtle edge is apparent both in space and on land. Kor’bayn’s fighting style is a small-scale reflection of his tactics and stratagems. He observes and weakens his foes before going for an all-out assault bent on dealing a killing blow. In melee he uses a combination of gadgets, firearms, meleeweapons and martial arts.Though not very charismatic Kor’bayn Ronar is well respected and the honest honourable way he leads has inspired the loyalty of his followers. Skill, honor and accomplishments are more important than politics to the Protectors.

On a secondary note, Kor’bayn’s older sister Sarissa is alive and well. It is to be noted that while her brother is a good tactician and military leader he lacks charism and diplomacy. It is his sister Sarissa, her two daughters and his aunt who play a surprisingly pivotal role in Raxus Prime’s political actions both internally and externally. Kor’bayn has no problem with that realizing all too well the limits of his abilities and preferring to delegate these matters to trustworthy but capable familymembers. It is also remarkable that these are all women which until recently existed but certainly not so dominantly. This has caused a certain gossip and badmouthing among the more sexist families of Raxus Prime. Regardless the ‘female touch’ brought by the ladies has proved to be surprisingly effective and has swayed other families into moving daughters, sisters and wifes up the forefront diplomatically and even politically. Though male dominant, the women of Raxus Prime are expected to be well able to defend themselves and partake in combat if need be. Certain stereotypes still linger but Kor’bayn has been experimenting with a more and more permanent presence of women in certain sections of the Mandalorian military.
