Something I was always told, but didn't quite believe until now was that the end of the year in whatever level of school your in (elementry, junior, high school) is always the most hectic.
Your through with all the major tests and finals, books are getting turned in, no more exams, cramming, studying, no more homework. And the whole time you have teachers trying to keep up with the learning process even when it's clear that if you haven't learned it by now you probably won't. You just don't feel like doing work. It's summer you shouldn't have too. Aside from that you have to deal with things that areen't related to school.
That this is your last year at your school, your graduation or promotion, you probably won't see a good chunk of your friends. Tears, drama drama drama. At long last vacation begins next week for all those in HISD. Good Bye grading system and school lunches. Finally time to relax, but then of course that's different for those who get forcibly dragged on family trips when they just feel the need to kick back. Sorry to you all. crying
Then there's those that miss school in the summer and don't want the year to end. Weird, but it's not always nerds, I kinda see where they are coming from. On one hand you don't get to see your friends 5 days a week and you have nothing to do. Weird how when it's the school year you want it to end, but when it's summer you want it to get started. I myself like school, I just don't like the classes, they're what gives you the work.
All in all there's always something happening at the end of the year and mine is finally getting to that point.
