Humans.
What are humans in general? Moreover, why were we created? Millions of Centuries and we have yet to have such an answer. Many seek this answer, taking their entire lifetimes just for a small part of it, but we have never came close. Humans are the top of the food chain, but only with the help of the planet. We never had any sort of defense, like turtles have shells, or crabs have claws. We were left with nothing; nothing but skin, which does us so little, like keeping bacteria out of our systems.
To attain the answer to our existence, people join religious groups, army, fight for a certain faction, ETC. For all we know, we could’ve been made by aliens and decided to drop us off at Earth for no reason at all. And if that’s the case, why were the aliens created and why’d they create us? But of course, many say that God created us, which is actually true, but why? He just decided to make a bunch of creatures and put them on planets just because he felt like it? And what if the universe was computer generated? Then why’d they make us? Or better yet, WHAT would make us and for what reason?
Society. Government. Community. It’s an everyday thing, we are all part of it, whether we like it or not. The only time we were actually free of this was when we were but children, we never had a care in the world, and always just wanted to play and have fun. That was, until we were sent to school, which most of us loathed entirely. They taught us of our society and whatnot, as we passed through the grades, losing our free will and forced to get a job just because we have to pay to keep ourselves alive, which is stressful.
So, what really is our purpose as humans? It is a question that has yet to be answered, in fact, we may never know.

[Actually, having been religious since early in childhood, I am always puzzled when people ask "What is the meaning of life?" and so on. It just never would have occurred to me on my own to get confused over such a thing.]
