to stir a sound in silence, an echo, with a hope that someone would hear.
tis nothing more than insecurity from my woes, tortures, and fear.
a maddening silence so terrible it could bring one to violence.
a seeker of isolation i become, a heart of stone, hardly caring for anyone.
so carrying on with only a slim glimmer of compassion.
carrion about my own satisfaction.
will i ever find an easier sway.
whilst wishing self-serving desires away.
but a glimpse of happiness to precede disdain.
a forceful forgetting of all my longing pain.
til gravity takes hold of my flying heart.
for gravity destroys all that falls far.

- I liked this poem and I'm pretty picky. Good word choices and rhyming. I have a poem about sadness and pain too. It's called Melancholy. Anyways 5/5 keep up the good work.
