Ghosts and ghouls are in the air,
They make fun out of giving a scare,
 Tonight's the best, they believe,
For tonight is All Hallow's Eve.

Be it caramels or lemon drops,
 Chocolate bars or lollipops,
You dress up then you get candy,
 I think this tradition's dandy!

 Plastic pumpkins filled with sweets,
 Costumed kids tasting their treats,
I spot fairies and castle's queen,
Bugs and heroes, what to be on Halloween!

Our parents beckon to end our fun,
 Guess our trick-or-treating's done!
The candy was good, the costumes clever,
 Halloween's the best night ever!

        - Title: A child's Halloween
- Artist: ironchefsama
- Description: A poem about Halloween I wrote awhile back. It's short and sweet, but please comment on it. By the way, All Hallow's Eve is a old name for Halloween.
