That Fateful Day
I remember it well
You asked me my name
I sent you to hell
You looked surprised
With interest you spoke
Told me my life
Was just a joke
You said you knew
How often I lied
To those I loved
How Truly I tried
I still feel the shock
From that moment today
Noone had seen the truth
Of the Jokes that I'd play
I looked at you
Tears in my eyes
I remember it well
How you let me cry
When I was done
You asked if I was okay
The smile so fake
It spoke Disaray
I said I was fine
You looked at me straight
Don't lie to me
Your voice was like fate
You compelled the truth
Like blood from these lips
I told you my lies
You laughed like I'd tripped
I looked from your face
And back to the floor
You'd truly changed my life
Opened a new door
I live differently now
Colour out of grey
You changed me then
And Now I don't play

Spelling is a minor disadvantage. Poetry doesn't need to be spelled correctly to get the point across. Plus I was tired when I wrote this >.<"
