I was huddled up in my chair
My face covered with my hair
As I bawled my eyes out
My foot was in my hands
As the pain just expands
And everyone watches me in panic
The pain was just so extreme
I wished it was all a bad dream
And that I could wake up right then
But i knew it was reality
Which could cause fatality
Luckily, I was saved
Who came to me was my friend
And thats when i knew it wasn't my end
The pain died away
As my friend took control
And made my foot feel whole
And part of my body
I relaxed again
And it was finally the end
Of that extreme pain
That is always a constant strain
I smiled in vain
Thankful to my dear friend.

- Title: I smiled in vain
- Artist: iinsanely Sane
- Description: Yesterday I had so much pain in my foot, since I have flat feet, and they are getting worse, and really, the pain was so extreme I was still really bumpy way afterwards, and i just wanted to write a poem about how thankful I am to my friend for well, I'd say saving considering the pain I was in, but helping the pain die away.
