• She never had a reason to smile until she met him.
    He made her have an option,
    a chance to actually express.
    but he didnt feel the same way.;

    She sat up waiting for his arrival,
    smiling with a note and a rose in her hand.
    he walked up with a girl on his arm.
    She was smiling,
    and he was looking down.;

    He let go of the girls arm and walked toward her.
    She was confused but happy to see him.
    She leaned over to kiss his cheek,
    but he denied.;

    He took her rose and tossed it away.
    He ripped up the note and threw it on the floor.
    He just looked at her and mouthed the words, "Im sorry",
    then turned and left with the other.;

    The girl,
    heartbroken and shattered looked at the rose,
    it's petals all fluttered and tattered on the ground.
    The note ripped in half.;

    The wind blew,
    she continued to look down at the note.
    The wind blew it open with one half of a heart with her name on it.
    The other half, his.;

    She picked up the half with her name on it, as it started to rain.
    And cried out,
    "Who will have my other half?"
    And watched his half wither away in the rain.;;

    Later that day on midnight,
    was the time and day they first met.
    She looked at herself hard in the mirror and saw her eyes filled up with tears.
    "I wont live through it again";

    The next day she was found at the same spot.
    The spot where he broke her heart.
    Holding in her hand,
    her half of the heart with the words written in blood,
    Who will be mine?
    on it.
    And on his withered and wet piece she wrote,
    If he will never be mine?
