This is how I feel about my life, an eternal darkness...but the light represents God and my family and friends, the things that pull me away from this darkness.
Forever sleep, awake at last
Surrounded by a deep nothingness,
Forever alone, cursed to wander
Surrounded and yet there is no one,
Shadows...
Shadows are all I see,
They pass by not taking a second glance,
A light?
In the distance,
It breaks my nothingness,
I feel warm, safe, happy?
The light moves closer,
Closer, closer,
Until it engulfs me,
Body and soul,
Warmth,
All around me is warm,
I feel happy,
I am no longer alone,
For you are,
