Eye meets eye and the world fades away.
Words dance upon the tongues of young lovers.
Batting lashes; such a beautiful poison.
Hearts race upon first gentle touch.
Valentine roses cut deep into hearts
A single kiss becomes a hungry blade.
Flesh is caressed ‘til daylight breaks.
And you dance with your lovers remains.
Is life meant to end with love?
Are we slaves to the desires of the heart?
Melodrama beckons, but will I follow?
Darling, you are not my timeless end.

Description:
This is something I thought of while reading all the sappy love poems on here.
They're all the same: They all make me want to vomit -.-
So I thought I'd write a love poem as well, but with a little twist.
I hope you enjoy it <3 - Date: 12/03/2008

- Augh! Someone who agrees! So much cliche' material and unoriginal clones of poems...seem to seep in with the morning sun. Another amazing poem.
