I am a daredevil. An adrenaline junky. A risk taker. What ever you want to call it. It is the reason I am standing on the roof of a fifteen story building looking over the ledge. I sat and let my feet hang over the edge, I leaned forward and looked down. My stomach twisted. I was loosing my nerve, I closed my eyes. I couldn't do this. I'd done some risky things before, but nothing to this extent. I wanted a rush, not death! But death wanted me. I started to get up. I started to walk away, but the dark figure before me pushed me back. I hadn't heard it come through the door, but it was there just the same. It wore long dark flowing robes trimmed with glittering red. I couldn't see it's face but I could see it was female by the long dark crimson hair that hung from it's hood to the ground. She wasn't going to let me walk away. I stepped back in fear. Her sudden fierce hiss pushed me back further. My shoes couldn't find purchase as I looked at the rock hard pavement below me. I was suddenly calm. The chilled morning air rushed past my face and into my hair. I knew I was about to end. As the black ground neared me I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes, and woke up.
