after totally being inspired by a new friend i decided to post some of my poetry here although i don't think anyone will come here to read them.
Past Present Future
I’m walking down a road
I see my Past
How I was always alone
Discriminated,
Hurt,
Torn apart
Then I see my present
How I’m alone
Lost in the world
Trying to find someone who cares
Then I see my future,
I see myself walking down
a long, dark road
Trying to find somewhere where I belong
but I never do, I just see me..............

Words....People
Faith.............
...........Loyalty
Comfort...........
...........Love
Each word with it’s own meaning
Just as unique as each of us
and yet they are the same
never changing, but we change
We grow, we adapt
words don’t
their meanings change over time
but so does our purpose in life
Like the words, we are the same
and still different at the same time
like the words
defining life in this world and who we are
we must define the world and who we are
We are who we make ourselves
just like the world we live in is what we make it
so why not make it the best to be
we use words to describe this world and the people in it
why not let the world describe itself
Like the words, we are the same
though we may believe different things
we may enjoy different things
we may have a different outlook on life than someone else
this is what sets us apart
why not accept the differences
and remember what’s the same
We all live in the same place
we should get along
no one should be afraid of showing
who they really are
But things like that shouldn’t matter
We are all the same
even though we appear different
appearances don’t matter
inside your heart and head is what really matters
