This leaky valve of mine,
can not keep love confined.
Slowly it slips through my heart,
and gradually breaks apart.
The blood reaches my brain,
Causing its beauty to wane.
Bitter is this arrhythmia,
That causes my anemia.
Nothing can fix its unsteady beats,
From my chest it retreats.
Why is my body this way,
Never allowing love to stay.
