A devious smile crossed his lips. He was about to do something very bad, and he was enjoying the extacy of the moment. He had almost reached his prize, when a call cried out.
"LOKI!" The great lord of the Aesir walked over the rough terrain without so much as a stumble. "If you so much as touch that book, I will have to wring your neck."
Loki, dissapointed, attempted to look as innocent and wronged as the god of mischeif could manage. Let's just say, he wasn't very convincing. "I wasn't going to do anything, sire." he said the last word with such venom, it practically dripped from his teeth. "I just wanted to read some. Is that so wrong?"
"That book holds information that is of no use to you. You will do best to avoid it. I see you around here again, and you will not be pardoned."
