Our school is on basically on a sort of-lockdown for the next week or so.
Great...
With the Virginia Tech shooting that took place yesterday,
they're afraid of possible copycat shootings around here.
Plus the lockdown we had yesterday was confirmed to not be some random drill.
As in there was seriously someone in the school.
I love how seriously my math teacher took it...
only locking one of her two doors,
and not turning the lights out like she was supposed to
(and yelling at a student for turning them off for her when she failed to do so).
Not to mention continuing to leave us in our seats and continue class,
while every other class in that hall did the entire thing.
Lights out, keeping quiet, all doors locked, etc...
everything you're supposed to do during a lockdown.
Or every lockdown drill I've been in before.
My teacher treated it like a stupid drill... if even that.
But it wasn't a drill, apparently. D:
I don't even want to be in first period during a lockdown again.
