So Gaia has reached it's one billionth post. And we had double gold week. And as a result the GCD exploded. Not only that but the CB started invading us. At first it was quite fun, dodging explosions, attacking n00bs with a lightsaber and chatting in Errodu's thread about bomb shelters. But then I started to get tired, and started having a panic attack.

So I retreated to Doctor Who fan forums, art freebies and a Doctor Who guild. I put up a fanfic and then went to sleep.
Today I was surprised to find the GCD fairly intact. Quite a bit of rubble, as you can expect, but it could have been far worse. Things had calmed down, and people were sitting around, drinking, and toasting Gaia (which had now actually reached 1 billion posts). So I joined in and had a glass of champagne.
And now Gaia had a billion posts. mrgreen I wonder who the billionth poster was....
