Ahh, it's almost the end of spring break for us here. Sadly, I haven't seen any of my friends since the saturday it started, but a prayer was answered today! xd My love, her sister, and another good friend showed up at my doorstep today to say hello. It made me so happy to see their faces! whee (Because, you see, I'm a creature that lives for human contact with his loved ones - without it, I'm a fairly sad player. sweatdrop )
Ah, it makes me so proud to have friends so close to me that they would go out of they're way just to say hi. crying heart I say this, because the twins were heading to that friend's house, and her house is about a block away from mine. Ah, so wonderful. *sniff*
In other news, I have started reading Love Hina: The Novel, which is a very good transition from the manga. 3nodding By reading this, since it's told from Keitaro's point of view, I'm hoping to get some insight on my own mind's processes (as every male, I don't care who you are, has those 'normal guy' moments - even me).
If my love or her sister were to read this though, I'd be trampled. sweatdrop lol It's because this book contains all of Keitaro's inner thoughts, and, very oddly, I'm an exact replica of him...except I don't flunk in school. lol
Though, I am trying to figure out the inner workings of the female mind, too. I'm also reading the .hack//Another Birth series to see what it's like from Akira's (Blackrose's) point of view. I must admit, it's very interesting to see how she goes about her daily life - what with school, tennis, a newly-forming relationship with a guy, and trying to find clues to her younger brother's comatose state while playing "The World".
I can't say that I'll ever understand girls (especpecially tomboyish, violent, artistic, and just plain odd ones - if you're reading this though, my love, those reasons are why I love you! whee Don't hurt me! crying ), but this is helping me with a bit of the thought process.

*Add On*
Woo, my first add-on! whee Anyway, this add on is to note of a particular thing that happened. I decided to watch the anime Karin (aka Chibi Vampire) because I had always been curious about it - I like romantic comedies. lol It went above and beyond my expectations!! xd I was surprised at the fact that the main hero, Kenta, is exactly like me [in almost every aspect]....except fot the fact that that he has blonde hair and doesn't wear glasses. sweatdrop lol
I also found a [future] resemblance of myself in Henry, Karin's father. Anyway, that's off the subject - it's a brilliant story that tugged at my heart, and made me laugh as well. heart I highly reccommend it. (I can't wait until Geneon starts putting out the dvds in May! xp )
The best part of this series, by far, was what I noticed about Karin herself...though her personality is much different (she's the shy, quiet, blushing type), her body type is an exact match to my love's! blaugh (When you watch it, you will see just how lucky a man I am - to have a smart, wonderful girl that I'm shooting for that also has a kick-a** body....*swoon* 4laugh )
I also took note that that the opening theme has alot of fan-service [and suggestive lyrics], as do a few episodes, so it may not help me much in terms of being able to picture my love in my head (My heart cannot allow such a thing), but seeing this has prepared my mind, so that I am not taken off gaurd later in life (Please, do not interpret this the wrong way if you're reading this, my love! crying ...Though I fear the warning won't help... wahmbulance ).
