The Shadow Of Sorrow
Behind my eyes sorrow lies.
Alongside my shadow stands.
Despite the love and care.
Inside me the shadow falls upon my soul.
Off in a distance I see the light.
Outside there is happiness and joy.
But within me a sorrow lies.
Underneath my happiness, the shadow falls.
Throughout my life I've been happy on the outside.
Until this strange shadow fell.
It slices through my soul like a sharp blade.
Everyone goes on without knowing the sorrow.
Off my cheeks tears fall those clear, clear tears.
Onto the Floor the tears fall.
Up until now no one noticed.
But still no one sees or hears my silent tears.
Towards the light I climb, the shadow shall be conquered by light.
But I slip, I've lost my grip.
Without screaming I fall, the shadow consumes me.
Down I fall tumbling into the shadow.
Now I cannot see the light, I can't find it anymore.
