why do people feel the need to be so disrespectful. i mean...i work my butt off trying to understand everyone's point of view. trying to make sure there are no mistunderstandings. For example: i'm a practicing christian but i like to learn about other religions because i want to know another's point of view on things. christianity got many of it's praying practices from buddism actually, shinto truly examens the spirit and ancestry of humanity, and (forgive me if i say it wrong i'm not as educated as i'd like 2 b in these matters (i'm going to take world religions next year)) islamic is probably one of the most devoted religions around, they actually have a direction to pray in (east, Mecca). sometimes i wish we christians can show that much devotion to God.
So when a friend of mine who wants to be buddist spits on the cross...how do u think that makes me feel? ( scream really really really pissed. i wanted to grow fangs and claws and three heads and rip her eyes out. but that's not the christian thing to do. stunned into silence. wanted to knock this person to hell and show her it really is no fun. wanted to cry to scream to hurt as much as that friend just hurt me. but that really isn't the right thing to do, christian or not. stunned into silence. scream AAAARRRRRRRGGHHHHGGHGHGHGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scream scream ). correct me if i'm wrong but not only did she insult me, she insulted buddhism. for a buddhist would show respect for another religion and never spit on a symbol that holds so much meaning to that religion.
I just can't understand people sometimes stressed . I may as well stop trying. It really is none of my business. stare Besides i don't really need this kind of stress. whee
