'Mai eyes were the deepest crimson, red could get. Her face had a sly smile, creeping across her face. She had used her pendant for upshifting even further and protecting her baby - to make her become evil. Or was it her? Her claws grew out of the back of each hand - out of the nuckles. Her fangs grew like a sabertoothed tiger. Mai's tail reached the ground, even curved a slight bit. Her ears grew more proportional to her head, and her eyes, turned cat like as well. Mai's pendant was glowing furiously - it even seemed to flash. Her actual nails grew to. She narrowed her eyes, and screamed, falling to the floor in a thundering crash. Her pendant stopped growing - becuase as she fell the the floor, the three jewels were separated. The gold heart surrounding them shattered. Kira was left unconious on the forest floor outside the dojo.'
