What him and his friends say:
Neji: She's not a genius, she doesn't have special powers, but I love her so much...I guess I love her BECAUSE she's not like me. She's my opposite, and I need her to complete me.
Rock Lee: I'm glad that Neji found someone for him! We all have just a little time to live, and he made the best with it!
TenTen: Well, I can't say I'm exactly happy, but Neji does seem to be happy, and I wouldn't destroy that for anything, so I'm somewhat happy she's here.
Gai: Neji finally found someone! He was always distant and cold, never caring for anyone, but when she came, he changed so much!
Hinata: He's really changed. Ever since that day, he's always loved rain, and acts weird when she comes by. But, I'm glad that Neji has someone...
YOUR STORY...
You wave to your parents, as they walk away. The rain was going on strong, and your parents were going out.
You had the house to yourself!
You turn around, shutting the door with your foot.
"Even though mom and dad are gone, there's nothing I can do..." You sigh.
It was true.
Everyone you knew was probably confined to their house, or training. Either way, they couldnt come.
You walk over to the living room, and plop down on the couch. You look up at the window, watching the rain roll down the glass.
"Wonder what everyone's doing..." You mumble.

The rain was calming down, and your parents were still out.
You had spent the whole time in your room, reading by candlelight, because the lights went out.
You stayed in your room for a while until the lights came back on. When you looked out the window, it was pitch-black, except some streetlights.
"Hmm? Whats that?" You say.
Outside, there was a figure sitting on a bench. It wasnt moving, except it's hand and head. It looked like it was coughing.
"That idiot! Did this dude stay out all this time? What was he doing?" You say, grabbing an umbrella.

"Hey! Dude!" You shout as you run out your house.
The person lifted its head.
"What are you doing..." You stop.
Neji was sitting there. He was drenched, and he was staring at you.
"Neji!" You shout. You run up to him, wrapping your arm around him.
You werent thinking about what he thought. He needed to be warm, and you didnt have anything.
"You're freezing! What the hell were you doing out here? I need to get you inside!" You say.
"I...I..." Neji coughed.
"You're an idiot, you know that, Neji? You could die if you stay out here!" You say walking to your house, all the while holding Neji's hand.

"There. Does that feel better?" You ask, wrapping a blanket around Neji.
Neji shrugs the blanket off, and looks towards a flower vase.
"Hmph. Neji, I'm trying the best I can to keep you warm, and not let you die by hypothermia, but if you dont want anything, then you might as well walk back outside!" You say.
"...I'm sorry...For making you worry." Neji muttered.
You stare at him. You've never heard him say "sorry" ever since you first met him. And never to you.
"Whatever. If you dont want me worried, then do what I say, and try to stay warm!" You say, pretending that he didn't mean anything.
"...Fine." Neji said, still not looking at you.
You sigh. He's always like this. He never looks at you strait in the eye, and does the best he can to say a minimum amount of words.
You get up, and walk towards your room.
"I'll be right back." You say. Why was Neji out there anyway? He's a genius, he should know better! You think as you open your door.
Neji was sitting on your bed.
"What?" You say. You turn your head towards the couch.
Neji wasnt there.
"How did he do that?" You think out-loud.
"_____, I need to talk to you." Neji said.
"...Uh...Ok..." You stutter.
"Remember when we first met? How I didn't look at you, and you got mad at me for it?" Neji asked.
"Oh, yeah..." You say.
When you two first met, Neji and you were 4. Neji was with his father, and you were with some friends. You and your friends were walking down the street, and you all ran into Neji by accident.
"Oh!" You shouted.
You and Neji stumbled to the ground.
"Owwww...You ok?" You mumbled.
"Uh..." Neji stuttered. He turned his gaze to a tree.
"Hey! I said, are you ok?" You say. You started getting mad, because you liked it when people actually looked at you when you talked.
"He's fine. I'm sorry about this." Neji's father, Hizashi, smiled.
"Oh, it's ok." You say, standing up. You immediately recognized him from his eyes.
Neji stood up, but didn't say anything.
"Goodbye. I hope to see you again." Hizashi smiled.
"Goodbye, Mr. Hyuuga!" You smile.
Neji and Hizashi kept walking, but when Neji looked back with a "Sorry" face on, you were already talking with your friends.
"There's a reason I never look at you. How I can never look at you strait in the eye..." Neji said.
"Oh, really? And please, dont say because I'm ugly, or I'll kick you out of my house." You joke at your own expense.
"I could never find you ugly, _____" Neji said.
You stare at Neji.
What?! Neji just called me pretty! Well, not exactly pretty, but non-ugly! You think.
You can feel you face heat up.
"...I could never look at you, because I'd probably blush and...prove it." Neji said.
"Blush? THE Hyuuga Neji can BLUSH? This is a new one. What else are you gonna tell me? That you can fly?" You laugh.
"...No." Neji said.
"Then what do you want to tell me so much?" You ask. "What is that secret that you HAD to keep secret for 8 years?"
"That...I love you."
You stare at Neji as though he just told you that your mother died.
You couldnt believe what he just said.
THE Hyuuga Neji loves YOU.
He must be lying, right?
"Y...yeah, right...this is a joke, right?" You stutter.
"I wouldnt joke about my love for you, _____" Neji said.
Neji turns his gaze from the half-melted candle to your eyes.
His eyes seemed to bore into yours, and proved what he meant.
Hyuuga Neji loved you.
Neji got up from your bed, and walked towards you.
You didnt want to move. You wanted to stay there, but you also wanted to run out of your house.
You decided to stay.
"_____, I'm sorry. I always ignored you, and I know that you probably thought that I didn't care, but I care deeply, and I never want you to think that I don't." Neji said.
He kept walking towards you until his face was an inch away from yours.
"I'm sorry."
Neji leaned in, and kissed you.
You stood there. Just standing there. You and THE Hyuuga Neji, kissing.
That average girl. That girl who just passes the test. That girl who doesnt have any special skills. That girl who loved, but was never loved back.
That girl and Hyuuga Neji.
In love.

"_____, c'mon! Lets get going!" you hear your friends shout from your window.
It had been a day since Neji kissed you and you still couldn't make up your mind if you were dreaming, or if it was real.
"I'll be right down!" you shout.
You pull on your shirt, and run out the door. Your mom and dad were out at work.
When they got home yesterday, Neji was already gone, and you were on your bed, sleeping. You had sweet dreams that night.
"What took you, _____? Momll kill me if we're late again." Your friend asked.
"Oh, I had to choose what to wear." You say.
As you and your friends walk down the streets, you see Neji sitting on a bench outside of his house.
He was looking at you this time.
