~Chapter three~

As Hatsuko watched Yoshi run off, she thinks, “How did it turn out this way?” Aoshi just looks at Hatsuko wondering if what he did was right, or wrong. He scratches his head and bends down by Hatsuko. “Hey are you okay? I could walk you home if you want?” He suggested. Hatsuko didn’t reply but just sat there. “…No, I’m fine.” She slowly gets up, brushes her knees a bit from the ground and starts walking in the opposite direction. “H-Hey!” says a startled Aoshi. Usually any girl would melt in happiness to have him walk her home but she didn’t.

Hatsuko walks slowly towards her apartment building but stops when she passes a bar. “…Maybe just one drink.” Said Hatsuko. She walks inside the bar and sits down at the counter. “What would you like, miss?” asked the bartender. “Hmmm…something strong please, like really strong to make you fly out of your seat.” Said Hatsuko. The bartender hands Hatsuko a small bottle of clear liquid. “Would you like a cup---?” The bartender asks but stops when he sees Hatsuko rip the bottle cap open and starts chugging it down. “Um…never mind.” Says the bartender. As soon as Hatsuko finishes the bottle of vodka, she sets it gently on the counter top, pays for it and walks out. “Whoa…man, am I dwunk?” Hatsuko asks herself. Her face was red and she could feel steam coming out of her ears and she couldn’t walk straight at all. “Oh well…” she stumbles away until she hears footsteps behind her and a man grabs from behind.

Aoshi looks around worriedly for Hatsuko. She can’t possibly get home by herself in her condition. He thought as he went looking for her. “?!” Hatsuko struggled against the man’s grasp but couldn’t get away because she was half drunk. She felt her strength disappearing as the man started to choke her. “Hehe…you’ll have some fun with me tonight.” Said the man in a perverted way. “…LIKE HELL I WOULD LOSER!!! Hatsuko yells and with her remaining strength turns around and kicks the man right in the balls. The man faints afterwards from the pain. “Oops…looks like I dunno my own strwength…” says Hatsuko. “Hatsuko?” asks a puzzled Aoshi as he walks up to her. “Huh? Hi Aoshi!!!” Hatsuko walks up to Aoshi but right after she says hi she falls forward into his arms and fell asleep.
