I'm not really a gun man. I mean, when it comes to giving people bodily harm, my weapon of choice is a nice chiney knife, followed by some barehanded work. I'm rather adverse to guns, very unsporting weapons.
...but ********! Gods, there's just something about a revolver. Maybe it's just the cowboy in me that I just can't shake, but geez... Just the double action pulling back of the hammer, and safe release... Just the noise it makes, the sound of a rotating cylinder. whee Just those simple sounds, the weight of a 357 in your hand, the click click click, and the cla~clack. Some of the most soothing sounds I know. If it wasn't socially taboo, I'd be strapped like 50 Cent, going everywhere with an unloaded revolver in my hands, for the comforting weight, the soft clicks and clacks... Oh so very pacifying.
