A while back we had this printer/fax machine in the office that I work at that was being a little b***h in regards to finding the proper ink for it to use.
After weeks of desperation from Xerox's local suppliers we went to a local store that sold outdated printing supplies. The people there were really nice, made my order, took my check, and told me that it would be delivered in several days. Several days passed and my bank account wasn't exactly in good shape to be charged. So I call up the company and ask them to cancel the order and my check. They said alright and all was good.
About a week later I get the dreaded slip from my bank that says that my account has been charged $29.00 for non-sufficient funds. I'm like "WTF?" and they say it is because of a check that was cashed in for the amount of $48.00. The ******** bastards at the printshop had cashed my check anyway. So I got to the bank, get the nessesary paper work that proves that my check was cashed and I go to the printshop to get my money back. There I meet a lady who feels for me, makes copies of my documents and tells me that she will straighten the issue out and will "call me tommorow."
She never did.
So yesterday I call the company and I am in ultra-b***h mode. I talk with the manager and tell him that I want my money back. I have the paperwork proving that they took money from my account and I never received my supplies anyway! Then you know what he says?
"No mam, your check is here. It was returned for non-sufficient funds. You should be paying us $25.00 for your returned check."
I swear to God I felt my blood boil. I said, "Excuse me? I have documentation from my bank proving that your store stole money from my account! And now you dare tell me that I owe your store $25 dollars on a check that my bank says they processed AND paid? I had given one of your employees proof that funds were taken from my account and if she threw them away to delete the evidence then your store will be in serious trouble. Who do you think you are to argue with a customer?"
So he replies in a very nervous voice, "Well, ummm, fax us the documentation and if it's true we will return your money."
"It is true sir, but I will not fax it only for you to say that you never received it or throw it away, my bank has already backed me up 100% and I'll go as soon as I have even more evidence of your lies." and I hung up.
OWNED ********!!!
I'm going to see if I can go today or tommorow. cool
