-Because otherwise you'll abandon your home for the library

-What good is a home away from home if you spend the time alone?
Central Location
-That way everyone can spend as much time as possible at the spot.
(note: Central doesn't necessarily mean middle of campus. Just a location that people will flock to anyway.)
Staff and Cleaning Crew
-Be nice to them. They will be nice to you, and help provide easy and convienient access to food and power.
Locker room
-As long as a group is present leaving your things in a nearby corner is safe. Just make sure to ask, otherwise your stuff will be left ungaurded when people go to class.
