Inkii awoke the next morning the book clutched tight in her hand. She looked about and sighed, the house was quiet and the room cold. The calender read Saturday, she crawled out of bed wondering where all the noise had gone. She stumbled down stairs and into the kitchen standing before her in the kitchen at the stove was her mother talking on the phone as the twins, Mink and Chester, where tugging at her.

"Morning.” Inkii said pulling out the carton of orange juice.

”Morning, hun.” said her mom as she fought the twins off and talked to whoever was on the phone with her.

Inkii just smiled and poured herself a glass of juice then made her way into the living room were Duke, Minnie, Bekka, and Bobby sat watching Saturday morning cartoons. ”Where's Sally?” she asked curiously looking about the room.

”Try her room, she's been in there a lot lately.” Duke answered eyes still glued to the tv.

Inkii nodded and headed back upstairs drinking her juice as she made her way to her sisters room.
