What would happen if you could fly whenever you wanted? When would you use this ability?

Well, it'd really depend on how the whole flying power thing worked. How much of a workout would it be? Would it be worth it? I mean, what if flying 2 feet was like running 10 miles? Probably not for me then. If it was like walking the equivalent distance, much better. Would I need a whole new wardrobe? It'd be cold, I imagine. Goggles would be a must, crash helmet maybe even? Rocketeer suit? That'd be pretty sweet =)
When? Hum. Would really depend on the stuff I mentioned already. I'd really hate to show up to work with a wind bitten face and feathers in my mouth, but avoiding rush hour or the beach tourists might make it worth while. As a fun, shiny thing to do on a day off, it'd be awesome, esp. if I could travel long distances without much physical discomfort/exertion. It would be even better if my friends could fly too!
