So I went to see the doll mouth series by Diana Thorneycroft at one of the local galleries with a friend of mine, and she made a very interesting point.
Why do you think women wear lipgloss and makeup on their lips to make them look moist and pink/red?
Anyway... the doll mouths... a lot of them were freaking creepy.
They were images of children's dolls, zoomed in and abstracted, and some of the shapes and postioning of them were just gruesome...

^ It loses a lot of it's effect in the shrinking down.
The actual ones are about 2feetX2feet.
I couldn't find any of the worse ones... but that one works fairly well, I think.
