i almost always take showers, but i took a nice long hot bath today, which felt wonderful. then i had to let the water out; i couldn't have people coming in seeing the scummy old liquid.
i couldn't pry up the drain cover! it was stuck so tightly to the floor of the tub, it must have been sealed there by water pressure.
after trying for ten minutes, i realized:
we don't even have a drain cover.
you just pull a lever, and the bath drains.
i had been trying to pry off the hardware.
