"I'd never be scared if you never left my side." That is what I told him when he whispered for me not to be afraid.
"Everything is going to be ok." He tried to assure me.
"I know." I closed my eyes and sat there, letting my thoughts trample any hopes of a good day being on the blood colored horizon.

That was the scene that played out early this morning. The guy I was talking to never heard the first scentance.
