You look through me. I am invisible. Invisible to you. Invisible to the world. Why do you not see me? You don't even spare a glance. I long to feel your touch, Your embrace, Your lips against mine. you're not here, you're not there.
My lips are cold,
my arms are empty,
Here I'm hoping you will see me.

but when the crowd parts,
there you are...

Standing there.
You are looking in this direction.
But you do not see me.
You must see something past me.
Not me.
I shiver and take a last glance at you.
A tear falls.
