Every child's parents say things that are absolute lies. when we are hurt mentally they say that they have gone through the same thing and that is supposed to make us feel better. rolleyes Well I don't know about the rest of you but to me it doesn't make any thing better. No one could have gone through the same thing because with everything that happens, your own thoughts file in. So really with every incident there come new thoughts, therefore no incident is the same. I get that our parents are trying to help but in truth they can't. We kids just have to heal on our own. Only when we cannot, do the parents actually start to do the right things. In the end we might or might not heal, but we have grown from the experience. We learn something and our parents find out that they actually can help their kids when they put their minds to it.
