Poems for my Julia.
Well I've been away all weekend at Jacobs again. We went around with a bunch of friends. Jim, Josh, Codianne, and well thats all. We played some gamecube, and went to the movies. We saw boogeyman which was alright despite the fact everyone started screaming at each other about how it was. Well everyone being the guys two said it sucked, and the other two thought it was decent. We argued over how often Jacob picks apart movies and I finally settled everything by saying it's all in our age. Their whole point of the movie being bad was they could predict the suspenseful moments and thought there was too many of them.

I had this big long thing about it which I don't feel like explaining now. But it stopped the friendly arguement and we all went and ate at wendys. It was fun, oh and the night before Jacob, Jim and I played DDR for about two hours. It was fun anyways, I just got home today and talked with Julia a while ago, I was kinda of tired so I wasn't all there. She had to get off the phone because her parents want her in bed at 10:30 and at eleven. She called before going to sleep rather upset, her father was a jerk about something stupid. Then she remembered she forgot to do her english homework which was due in the morning that needed typed up. Her parents are weird about grades, they feel that one homework grade reflects on your overall grade... Anyways she was supposed to write five poems but only had one written.

She got scared of getting in trouble and even more upset, so I told her to calm down and read me the poem she already had written. Which was about me heart I wrote it down and told her not to worry, I'd type it up and email it to her so she could print it out in the morning. Then I asked the other four poem types and wrote them all for her. I didn't want her in trouble or upset so I just wrote all the poems for her. They'll be waiting for her in her morning email from me. Hopefully she likes them all, well It took me a long time but I've finally finished and emailed them all to her. I'll share each of them now... bare in mind it was after midnight when I wrote them for her.

Line Poem
A verhicle is something I wish to drive one day
Unless of course to my utter dismay.
The car I aquire really isn't something I desire.
Oh well I'll be happy just as long as it doesn't catch fire.
May my drivers test be easy.
On the risk of souding cheesy.
Bring me luck as I learn on my permit.
I'll be a great driver you just have to admit.
Learning to drive shall be a rather
Enjoyable experience as a automobile is what I'm after!

That was the type of poem you write a word vertical and then make a poem coming off from it. I chose automobile since she just got her drivers permit and thought it would seem relevant to her age in school.

Story Poem

A puppy named joe

There once was a puppy named joe.

He was small and brown.

This puppy was rather chubby and slow.

He loved to run about town just nothing could keep this little guy down.

He had a black tiny nose and big watery eyes.

A red little ball and a dirty bone was his favorite thing.

Just a sniff from him let you know you were alive.

He'd run and jump as if he had little wings.

One day this little pup went outside.

He searched for his bone in the backyard.

When he searched that poor bone just had no chance to hide.

Suddenly as he searched for his bone rather hard.

His red ball flew at him from his side!

He looked to see his master who was utterly amazed.

At the disaster the little dog has turned the yard into.

Suddenly Joe found his dirty bone!

He snatched it up and ran to

Leaving his master alone.

This poem was meant to tell a story about something. I kept think of an olds children book I read and it influenced me. Plus I was trying to write things I knew her teacher would think a girl would right. So it wasn't serious and lovie or dark like my usual poems.

About Someone

Ziggity Manfarlen

Ziggity Manfarlen was a middle aged man.

He could talk to you for hours upon hours.

His humor and jokes were known throughout the land.

However he did smell a bit sour.

Dirty and damp clothes was his daily choice.

Ziggity Manfarlen was once called any ladies darlin.

Now he is the village idiot.

He wanders around while everyones muttering "that dirty manfarlen".

Nothing but smiles and laughter come from him as he thinks he's a hit!

He doesn't think anyone knows this

But he prefers to no longer shower.

That doesn't stop him from coming up to anyone and saying "Gimme a kiss"

Ziggity Manfarlen was once a great man who didn't smell sour.

But you see Ziggity Manfarlen had fallen.

When he chose to no longer shower.

Yeah... This poem was supposed to be about anyone you wanted and to reveal a deep secret about them... I really hope "anyone" meant a fictional character along the lines of the "old man from namtucket" It's late and I really tried... I did oh and the secret is he doesn't shower? sweatdrop I pray her teacher has a sense of humor.

This is a poem thats supposed to resemble the object your discribing. I was describing a flower and tried to make it look like a rose in a vase. This is the first time I ever did one of these so it took some effort.

Edit: I couldn't get it to come out right on here so I centered it. It's not the actual shape I made but actual resembles a rose and vase this way as well. My designed was a more hanging rose look but either works I guess.

Well thats all the poems I wrote for Julia. I need to think of something special to do for her tommorow too. Oh hey, I'll probally be going and visiting her this upcoming weekend. That is if I can get Jacob into going for sure. I pray he's able to go with me other wise it doesn't look like I will. I just REALLY need to see Julia again. It's been since october and yeah thats way to long. So heres to hoping I'm able to go! Let's hope it's this upcoming weekend... I don't want her parents to wonder why I haven't gone down there to live and find out about me getting in trouble... I don't want to lose her!

I just know if that happens... I highly doubt I'd be able to stand being around much longer. But eh, let's not think like that my friends will pull through as I have for them, and I'll be able to see her again! Well it's two in the morning so I'm going to bed.
