Its been decided that instead of going back to Manhattan for school this semester, I'm going to stay in KC and then go to a community college for the semester.
It had been up in the air for a while but my mom doesn't want me to be three hours from teh hospital if somethign goes wrong and she doesn't trust the hospital in Manhattan for cardiothorastic stuff, nor do I.
The reason I'm going to take community college classes online instead of Kstate is to bring my GPA back up, I was just under the cut off this semester, and so my advisor suggested I take the semester to get healthy again. My GPA dropped after two consectutive semesters of being really sick.
If your blood saturation gets below 98% (thats oxygen in the blood) then your mind starts getting a bit fuzzy, with me having to walk across campus, it was dropping down to 95% and then I was tryign to concentrate in class and it just wasn't working. So, my grades dropped and I need to get them back up and pick up a few extra hours before i go back to Kstate.
I'm going to miss Mia, but thats about it, that and having foodcooked for me and always have hot water, and the other joys of living in dorms, but Mia is about the only person I'm going to miss on campus other than some of my professors.
I'm going to go back to Manhattan at least once a month, or try to if at all possible and stay wtih Tanja while I'm there, or Mia's if she will let me. That way Mia and I can finish the L word and I'll still make it to Tanja's bday party, though I'm getting the couch for Tan's bday party since her and Kris will prob take the bed, the rest of the time I get to share a bed wtih Tan, fun neh?
Maybe I can get Mia to be my date for that party and get really really drunk, or I can jsut hang with her and have fun that way too.
