so, I went tonight to the closing show of the play that I quit. it's the only time that I regretted my choice. there they were, getting their senior honors, with their satisfied memories of hard work and companionship. I was an outsider. I didn't share their stories, their successes, their applause. No last show for me. But it would have been hell, I have to remember how terrible it would have been watching a person that I knew I was better than in the role that I wanted so badly, submitting myeself to the abuse of the crazy b*****d of a director. yeah. it would have been aweful, but it's hard to imagine now.
