But here I am, posting in my journal for the first time in way too long.
I'm 20 yrs old, I'm about to earn my associates degree in Theology, and I'm at the point in my life where I am faced with some interesting decisions. Girls, possible mission fields, possible continuation of my education, and other things lie in my path and pretty soon I won't be able to put it off. I love Bible College and I highly recommend it to all who read this. I learned a lot but I think I grew more. Of course there's a ton more growing to be done but it's been stretching, stressful at times, and a huge blessing. God can do so much in your life, He wants to! You need to find that place where He can do it. Whether that is in your personal devotions, at church or at one of the Calvary Chapel Bible College campuses across the World, you need to be seeking God. I suppose I may be biased in wanting you all to come to my Bible College but as a former and continuing critic of the Calvary Chapel movement in general, I have found sound teaching and an environment where we as Christians can grow closer to the one true God. My friends are all men and women who have chosen to take advantage of this great opportunity God has placed in our lives and each one of them has different stories in how it has blessed them. Learn about God, grow in Him, travel the world if you want, and spread the light of God in the dark areas of the world. So here’s my advertisement for my Bible College, I just encourage you to find one, one that is ALIVE. I’ve seen dead ones, but if you want a life changing experience, talk to people who’ve gone to these Bible Colleges and ask them what God’s done in their life while there. If they can’t count the things that God has done, like for me at this school, check it out and pray about it. You won’t be disappointed.
