The young gaian had woken up in the morning as she always did, yawned, and trudged off through the snow to the forum bar. She opened the door....and found herself submerged into a complete nothingness. All around her was white, cold and empty. Trix staggered out, gasping. She stood there for a second, before going round to the back entrance. This time she got in as per normal and went over to the door reading 'Gaia Community Discussion'. The door was locked, and a sign on it said 'This forum does not exist'. "What the ********?!" gonk Trix groaned. She tried some of the other forums, but all were the same.
Sighing, she left the bar and headed off to Guilds. Upon trying to get in, she found the door locked. "Oh for..." she turned again and headed off to towns. She got into towns fine, and wandered around for a bit, but everywhere seemed strangely empty. (she also found one of her friends houses for sale, she doesn't yet know why.)
She started to get quite worried about the lack of people, and bored! So she headed home, and played word bump for a while to calm her nerves.
After several round of word bump, she decided to go check the forums again, so off she went, through the snow. This time, she got in the main entrance. She tried the GCD, and, thank god, the door opened! She stumbled in, to find a bunch of hysterical GCDers, talking about the Gaia exploding. She sat down, grabbed a drink, and talked over what had happened with her fellow Gaians. She discovered that she had, in fact, been lucky, many Gaians got thrown out of there accounts all together (hence the fact that towns had been empty), several thinking they'd got hacked or banned.
After chatting for a while, she headed over to a quite corner, and pulled out her journal and a pen. At the top she wrote: REMEMBER THIS DATE!

Upon further inspection, I have discovered that the regular Gaian users were not the only ones to suffer. Both Cindy and Rina (and maybe other NPCs too) completely, though thankfully temporarily, disappeared off the face of Gaia.
Also, it seems to have been, generally, an attack on mains, as most mules were unaffected. Lucky mules. rolleyes

So there you have it, if you wanna get a cool T-shirt, just try and fail to get into Forums and Guilds, get very scared, play word bump for ages, trudge endlessly through the snow, and complain about it in the GCD afterwards.
