Yes, Sod's Law strikes. D:< And it's made me slightly hyper - hyper enough to write two journal entries in a day. x3;
I've just come back from shopping in Borders; got a book for my Grandma and a CD for my Mum for Xmas, along with some spiffy cards for my parents and Sister. Just out of interest, I went to browse through the manga, but did so in a way that avoided the other dude in the aisle (ever had manga-aisle awkward browsing? ninja It's a bit surreal...), so I was looking right at the end of the row, and on the side facing the larger aisles between sub-aisles (if that makes sense ==). They've moved the section around a bit so that some volumes, rather odd ones too, are on the floor in a pile. Not odd as in odd subjects, but random parts of series, like Dragonball 9 and Fruits Basket 11, etc.
Strangely enough, despite the fact they never have anything apart from volume 1 in, they had Graviation 8. At the time I can't buy anything due to the prospect of Christmas presents! ¬¬!!
As soon as I find out at Christmas what I've got from various sources, I will act accordingly (i.e. stay put at home or get my a** back to Borders, muy rapido, sehr schnell, etc. xD; ).
It would happen at the most inconvenient time though, wouldn't it?
However I had a flick through it and didn't have much idea what was going on, due to the fact I currently own volumes 1-3 in English, and 4-5 in Spanish. x3; I was lucky enough to find this amazing manga shop went I went to Barcelona in July, so, not letting my meagre 1-and-a-bit-years-worth-of-Spanish daunt me, I bought the said Gravitations, and the first Ouran High School Host Club. This has led to entertaining translations attempts for the benefit of friends who know even less Spanish than me, such as:
"Is this the truth of the final homosexual etiquette?!"
"Yuki, you're a man!!"
"I did not know you had tickles of the ears, Eiri!"
So I probably didn't absorb much of what happened in 4 and 5. ^^;
Aa~anyway, erm... yes. Grrrnff.
P.S. That Elemental Hair from the Donation Letter is excellent... @__@ I need to donate sometime...
