Well... we found a house.
Only my mom wants to wait until my dad sees it,
before we get it.
My dad was the one who wanted us to look at it in the first place...
we already know he likes it.
And bescides, he's still in California.
There's no telling when he'll get out here.
We should just get the house,
so we're not still in a damn hotel when Christmas gets here.
We planned to go to my grandparent's in Florida for Christmas.
Looks like we can't do that, or anything else,
because my parents can't just get the house
so we can get settled in and on with our lives again.
I'm missing way too much school,
and the schools are way different here in the way they do things.
You take four classes per semester here.
If I'm ever going to catch up, I need to get back in school.
My mom... of all people, is the one stalling.
She's more tired of this hotel thing than I am. I know it.
She never stops complaining about all of it.
Well if we just go for the house,
she won't have to complain about hotels anymore.
But nooooo..
I don't understand why we aren't going for this house.
It's the perfect house!
We can look at as many other places as we want,
but I just know we're going to keep going back to that one.
The house is awesome..
the neighborhood is nice..
it's right by a marina, so my dad can have his boat..
and it's a twenty-minute trip by boat to the ocean.
How cool is that?!
It's a nice town,
the schools are good,
and it's a short drive to where my dad will be working.
So what the heck are they waiting for?!
