Are cartoons special to you? They are special to me for many reasons that are personal to me. Seeing as the majority of you may not know or care to know much about me, I can understand, but this is my journal so I will reveal a little bit about myself. When I was four, a hurricane blew down my house, and my dad died of a disease. My mom was a stay at home mom, and we were left with nothing. At this point in time, I ended up living with my grandparent. My mom went back to school and became a radiologic technologist. After a few months, my mom finally got a real check, and we had surplus, so she bought the full cable package (we only had local channels and cable was fairly new). Alas, I was introduced to cartoon networks, and those funny moving pictures molded my childhood ever since. They brightened my life and inspired me to laugh instead, and that is why cartoons are important to me.
